1968 Ford Escort Mk1 2 Door. UK Car. This started life as a 1300 super but has been upgraded over the years to a 1600 crossflow. Solid old car which has been around for a long time. Starts runs and drives and can be used as is, or upgraded. We have the V5 here and a few old MOTS. Last owner has had the car for nearly 15 years.

Body - Mk1 2 Door standard shell. Good solid inner wings, strut tops, Rs wings, Underneath has had the usual repairs over the years. Its solid but the outer floors have been repaired with flat plate rather than contoured panels. Cibies fitted, black bumpers, front quarters, Painted in Olympic blue. Older paintjob which is showing its age a bit. Again perfectly useable or take it to the next level. Offside sill looks to have been replaced and sits a little further in than it should. Im being picky on a car at this price range but just want to point out as much as I can.

Mechanics - 1600 crossflow, 4 speed box, lowered all round. Engine sounds decent. Battery moved to the boot. Servo added. Twin choke weber.

Interior - 6 dial dash. All smaller gauges work but rev counter doesnt. Period Cobra bucket seats. Capri steering wheel. Standard rear seat. Headlining a bit saggy and needs tightened up

Wheels - Laser Alloys with 185 60 13 tyres.

Entry level 2 door car which is useable or good basis for a bit of a running resto. Definitely not a rotbox. You are more than welcome to come and see the car. We have a ramp so you can look underneath. Delivery can be arranged if required. Please ask for a quote.
