Ford Capri 2.0 Laser which we took as a trade in. Its a bit "Mad Max" but starts and runs , looks a fairly solid shell, but will need work. It may have been used for a bit drifting as it has one of those massive hydraulic handbrakes fitted. We dont have the V5.

 

Body - Capri Laser shell. Inner wings look good, floors and rear chassis look decent. Wings are screwed on rather than welded and a small bit of box section has been attached to each inner wing to bolt them to. May need wing runners after you pull the wings off and remove the box section. Spare wheel well is good. It was a factory black car. Paintwork is not good and will need redone if your putting it back on the road.

 

Mechanics - 2.0 Pinto and 5 speed box. Engine appears to have a cam in it due to adjustable cam pulley. I dont know what spec. its a new accuspark dizzy and coil. It starts and runs and sounds decent but will need the wiring looked at. If you give it a direct feed from coil to dizzy it sparks. If you go through the ignition there is no spark

Suspension looks standard.

 

Interior - A black ghia set of seats comes with it which will need work. They are not ripped to bits but will still need repairs / retrimmed. Door cards are there as well, which are also ghia and look decent. Headcloth looks ok but sunroof bit is missing. No carpet. Suede steering wheel. Dash has no cracks. 

 

Wheels - Black Superlite style wheels with 185/60/13s on front and 205/60/13 tyres on back. 

 

Car looks scruffy but isnt a bad shell and would make a fairly easy project. Please feel free to come and see the car. delivery can be arranged if required. Please ask for a quote.
